It's only a 10-minute ride from the pier to Progreso then you'll be taken to the ATV base camp. Drivers need to show their driver's licenses; the minimum age to drive solo is 18 years. Children ages 14 and up may drive riding double with a parent on the back of the ATV. Once the helmets are on, you're off the Misnebalam Ghost Town. The drive there is approximately 1 hour on trails.

The town of Misnebalam was inhabited from 1910 to 2010 when the last 21 inhabitants decided to leave the town. But, Misnebalam had its heyday during the henequen era. Henequen is a plant that is used to make textiles. But, the town had secrets. Townspeople believed they had witches influenced by Chaneques, gremlin-like spirits that protected the land but chased away intruders. They were said to have done mischievous things like moving objects to scare people. Some say that the mischievous creatures are still there.

After your visit to Misnebalam, you'll hop back on your ATV and visit the Paraiso Blue Lagoon just a short distance away. You'll be able to take a dip and enjoy the refreshing waters while surrounded by nature. You will have a relaxing stop at the lagoon before hopping back on your ATV and heading to Silcer Beach Club for a relaxing beach break.

At Silcer Beach Club, you will find beach chairs, umbrellas, a swimming pool, kayaks, paddle boats, stand-up paddle boards, and free WiFi. There is even a kid's club! The non-motorized water sports are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Take a stroll along the beach, you can buy a beverage from the bar, or purchase food items from an authentic Mexican menu that will also include American favorites; relax in a hammock in the shade with a full ocean view. This is a day you won't want to miss. OR for the best value, add on the All-Inclusive package and get all your drinks and food included!!

Available drinks for purchase at the bar include Pina Coladas, Margaritas, Soft drinks, Mixed drinks, Beer (Corona and other Mexican beers owned by Corona such as Modelo, Pacifico, etc), and bottled purified water. All mixed drinks are available with or without alcohol.

Available for purchase from the restaurant you can find: Panuchos (traditional Yucatecan dish), Salbutes (traditional Yucatecan dish), Quesadillas, Tacos, Chicken Fajitas, Salsa and Chips, Guacamole, Nachos, Pizza, Burgers and Hot dogs. Some foods are subject to change.

After that and if times allow, you'll get to do a bit of sightseeing and shopping in the town of Progreso. Your transportation will then return you to your Progreso cruise ship port after spending a unique day in Mexico.
